PCBs for sale!
Monday, August 27, 2012
I guess in some ways it was inevitable. Considering my involvement with the DIY world, coupled with the ability to make PCB layouts and get manufactured PCBs fairly easily, it would be the obvious jump to making PCBs available for the DIY Community.
So it’s hear. We have just a few designs to start, but many more are on the way from JMK PCBs. Some of the projects you can look forward to include utility projects that make a great addition to existing pedals in the form of a blend circuit. We also have an array of Tap Tempo solutions for DIY delay projects using a PT2399 chip. Also coming are some old school fuzz projects that will make a good splash on the stage.
We’re open to ideas our clients and customers have, so if you have an idea, and would like to see a particular circuit make it’s way onto your work bench some day in the future, let us know! We’d love to see if we can make that happen. If you’re someone who would rather just buy a pedal than build one, talk to our Custom shop about the potential of having a custom pedal built for you based on our DIY projects. Enjoy!
Three examples of PCBs from our first release with JMK PCBs. Manufactured PCBs offer many benefits over Etched PCBs, including: Silk Screen part layout, solder mask, double sided traces for compact size, and plated through holes for adding parts on both sides of the PCB if needed.
